Welcome to SoundKlouda - the bespoke remote recording solution for adding violin, viola, cello, or even multi-tracked strings sections to your tracks.
We have spent the past 15 years performing chamber music in concert venues internationally such as Carnegie Hall and Wigmore Hall, as well as recording extensively for TV, film, games and albums in London studios such as Abbey Road and Air Lyndhurst. We now bring that experience to our home studio where we record violin, viola and cello using high-end recording equipment.

WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE?
It makes the whole process much easier if we have all of the following at the outset:
- a PDF of the sheet music (violin, viola or cello part). Improvising may also be possible if there is no sheet music.
- a guide track of the full mix
- ideally also a guide track minus the part that needs to be recorded
- full details of any click, either as a bpm number (if constant), or by providing a MIDI track with the click info embedded in it, or as a printed click
- a description of how the part should be played in terms of character/articulation/dynamics etc
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
Every project will require something slightly different and depending on the intended usage, the rates may be different. We always like to talk through a project with a composer beforehand to fully understand what is required before quoting a fee, so please do get in touch and we will get back to you quickly to discuss the project.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
Normally a few days, but if something is extremely urgent we may be able to record something and get it back to you within 24 hours.
